An NFT is an object that exists on a block chain. They are unique and each one has a certificate of sale.
Why is worth so much.
Like all goods, scarcity determines the value of NFTs. How much someone is willing to pay for an NFT also determines the value of an NFT.
Real uses of NFTs
NFTs can be used to accurately document the authenticity of ownership of a product or asset in the real world or a digital one. This has not yet translated to modern economies but there is a a lot of potential for the uses of NFTs.
